Lake Michigan Poker Run
Founded by Detroit Tigers great Vic Wertz in 1982, the Wertz Warriors have been riding their snowmobiles through Northern Michigan to raise funds for Special Olympics Michigan.
Celebrating their 37th Anniversary in 2018, the Wertz Warriors have traveled over 18,000 miles and raised over $8.8 Million to support the State Winter Games of Special Olympics Michigan.
The 2018 ride will take place on January 28th through February 3rd 2018.

We are planning to host the 18th annual Boyne Thunder Poker Run on July 9 and 10, 2021. We look forward to bringing back the speed, excitement and the thunder to the shores of Lake Charlevoix and Lake Michigan, from our beautiful, national award-winning Boyne City.
